Cladtec / SAS Global SA400 is designed to combat wear and impact in applications not requiring the abrasion resistance or strength of our Vanguard Alloy Plate. It was developed to provide better formability and weldability than standard AR400 material. The entire thickness range of SA400 is through hardened, which translates to extended service life for finished products.

SA400 AR Alloy Steel

SAS Global SA550NM is a solution treated and quenched austenitic 11-14% manganese steel that exhibits excellent resistance to abrasion in cold working conditions where repeated impact is present. In the proper environment, SA550NM will work –harden to 550 Bhn. SA550NM rolled Flat Bars are available in a variety of thicknesses up to 1”, with lengths of up to 240”.
