CT28 Hardfacing – Restoration Material
One of Cladtec’s operations is to provide restoration of worn surfaces of hardened materials using a proprietary welding material specifically developed for this use. A number of different materials have been developed so that we can provide surfaces that are ideal for the type of material and abrasion encountered.
While the Cladtec CT28 is the right answer and at economical prices for most wear applications, we offer a variety of modifications and chemistries to our customers for solving even the toughest of wear situations. Once an analysis of abrasion, impact and grinding materials has been made the proper hardfacing materials can be selected for wear control.
Depending upon the agressivness of the grinding or crushing equipment, the Cladtec hardfacing materials may be applied in a multi-pass process in order to achieve thicknesses once thought impossible with these materials. Equipment operating characteristics and geometries are usually the determining factors for the amount of buildup that can be achieved.
