Cladtec / SAS Global’s trowelable ceramic products were selectively named “Hog Hide” in deference to the aged wild boar synonymous with toughness and durability. Hog Hide is a two part ceramic/epoxy composite developed for use in high wear areas. Select size ceramic aggregate blended into both part A “Binder” and part B “Hardener” can be easily mixed and applied in the ﬁeld. No special training or skills are required. With Hog hide you can apply a durable protective coating to a variety of components subject to abrasive wear. Application of Hog Hide trowelable ceramic can convert components to premium long wear parts. You need not wait for wear-out to occur!

Hog Hide will provide a durable, hard protective coating to a variety of plant systems components. The premixed blend of Ceramic Aggregate and Epoxy consist of irregular size and shapes that snug together during troweling,, resulting in a ceramic wear surface. Hog Hide is shipped in standard 30 pound kits. This mix is ideal for ﬂat, incline and overhead surfaces. Hog hide can be ordered in sizes from 5 to 30 pounds, or small portions can be mixed according to your needs. For large ﬂat surfaces we can blend a pourable Hog Hide.
